LIBERTY
Libertys Tana Lawn was first created in the 1920´s it got its name from the fine Cotton fibers found by Lake Tana in Eastern Africa by Libertys Buyer William Hayes Dorell. Tana Lawn is said to be ”the cotton that behaves like silk” and is a unique and significant piece of Liberys heritage.
The patterns are designed in the Liberty headquarters in the UK and produced in their factories in Italy, near Lake Como. It has since 100 years been refined and modified to profer qualities such as its fineness, coolness, its comfortability and durablility. The production process is carefully quality controlled trough out every stage and the Tana Lawn is only made from specially chosen ultra-fine lons staple cotton.
